Silver Tears of Flame was formed on the Quellious server in the spring of 2004 for the purpose of providing a guild setting for those people who, for whatever reason, could not find a suitable home from among the existing guilds.
Our member base is comprised of friends new and old, many of whom have shared adventures and experiences for many years.
A family-style guild in every sense of the word, our membership includes many out-of-game couples and families.
OUR MANDATE:
To create and provide a comfortable atmosphere for our members in which they can feel at home and at ease logging into, and in which to gain the maximum enjoyment form their time spent in-game.
To work together as a cohesive unit to help each member achieve their individual and collective goals, in regards to progression, gear, levels and AAs, etc.
To explore and conquer new lands and areas together, to push our limits and expand our horizons, and to experience the Everquest world in a no-pressure, pleasant environment.
RECRUITING POLICY:
SToF is not, nor will ever be, an openly recruiting guild.
Our members are personally selected on a "person by person" basis by the officers, based on personality as well as chemistry and the ability to mesh with the existing guild dynamic.
Alts are always welcome, and are in fact encouraged, once the main character has spent some time with the guild.
Because of the careful entrance policy very few members are ever asked to leave or are removed from the guild for indiscretions or violations; in extreme cases, however, such matters will be dealt with at an officer's discretion.
No players who are removed, and very few who remove themselves, will be reinstated into the guild. (i.e. the door swings more freely from inside than out).
