Biography
Selah is the daughter of missionaries who adored her very much and showered her with attention. Sadly, when Selah was still quite young, her parents were tortured and killed at the hands of the heretics and their summoned creatures in Toxxulia Forest. Selah was a witness to their brutal murders and most certainly would have been killed herself had it not been for the swiftness that had been bestowed upon her earlier by a passing druid. Selah was able to flee to Erudin and immediately went to the Temple of Quellios, which she had visited so often before with her parents. Although she was taken in by the priests and priestesses there, life for Selah would never be the same. The keepers of the temple were not used to children and were quite strict with her, and the members of the Paladin class guild who shared the temple would not even speak to her. Selah learned for the first time in her life what it was to be lonely.
As soon as she was old enough, she began to train in the art of healing and adopted the Cleric way of life. Perhaps she chose this path because she will never forget how she felt as she watched the life being drained from her mother and father as she stood by powerless to help them. She now devotes her life to saving other people's lives. At times, though, when Selah is healing the valiant fighters in a battle, the rage that she keeps suppressed inside her bubbles to the surface. There is a blood-thirsty side to Selah that comes from a wish to avenge her parents' deaths and a desire to deal justice to the evil lurking in the land. Seemingly unaware, she has been known to jump into the melee and shows a sense of pride when she can claim to be the one who has slain the opponent.
