Magelo Sync suddenly does not recognize the eqgame.exe version. My last synchronization was 11/27, and it has failed ever since. To my knowledge, the last patch was 11/14.

Currently running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

wow, first time in 13 years that i see a zero crc.... Any chance you dont run Magelo Sync under an admin account or with restricted privilege somehow ? Do you use a special launcher for EQ ? I see that you are dual boxing, have you tried with a single instance ?

Good morning!

No admin/restricted priv; no special launcher; not dual-boxing (have in the past, but I'm not when trying to make this work)

BTW - I experience the same issues on three separate machines:

2 running Windows 8.1 x64 (one is a fresh install)
1 running Windows 8 Enterprise x64

Are you using the correct version of Magelo? 32 versus 64-bit ?
I believe Magelo comes in both flavors upon install. The second .exe is located within the Magelo directory.
MageloSync.exe versus MageloSync64.exe
I am running the 64-bit version on my Windows 8 machine.

Yes, I'm using the x64 one. I've also tried the 32-bit one, on a lark... same deal.

It just worked (logs below).

A little information: I map a folder to a drive and, in that folder, is the EQ folder. When I launch EverQuest, I run it from the mapped drive.

One thing I've done differently, this time (but not when it worked on 11/25), is that I ran EQ from the actual folder rather than the mapped drive. I'll need to do some testing to see if perhaps this is what's leading to the issue, but I can't imagine how... or why this would suddenly become an issue while it's never been a problem in the past (I've used this method for years).

I was about to ask if you are running EQ from an unusual location, mapped drive being one

I am guessing that maybe something is handled differently with windows 8 and a mapped drive which leads to Magelo Sync not being able to find the executable...
