Are there currently any plans for support for the Mac server? We currently cant use rankings due to having to verify our equipment and AAs through the software that we cant use. Would be nice to know before my subscription runs out so I can decide whether or not to keep it.

OSX is not supported by Magelo Update yet. We plan to do it since more games are released for the Mac nowadays, but no promise on an ETA.

Mac support should be relatively easy since MU uses Java now, right?

MU already runs on Mac with Java Web Start, but the native part of Magelo Update hasn't been ported yet.

So MU what good is with Java Web Start, does this mean it part-way works? It runs but nothing to do with EQ Mac.

Magelo reads the section of memory in your computer where EverQuest is running and picks out your character data. Since EQMac is a different program running on a different platform, the way that the memory must be read will be different. I believe this is what is meant by the "native part".
