Good news, we finally handled most of the changes introduced with the latest game expansion! For those who have been anxiously waiting to update their character, please feel free to go ahead now. We also encourage you to keep Magelo Sync running while playing to populate the database with all the stuff you will discover in the new zones.
Please be aware that we still have few things to handle for this new expansion: the 2 new inventory slots are not yet visible in the Profile and only the 10 first slots of your bags are still shown, but the inventory tool show everything you have. The manual edition of your inventory and bank are also not possible for the moment. Don't hesitate to report any other issues you may found, we will do our best to address them quickly.
And to compensate for the excessive wait, all current Premium users have been granted 11 additional days and we patched the site with a little surprise! Please welcome the new Magelo Web Bar that makes our website more accessible and fun.
New Web Bar – Access Magelo main features on any page!
Visible on any page of the site, the Magelo Web Bar will let you access Magelo main features, keep the database closer, view personalized tooltips with your own character and much more!
- Search for items, NPCs, spells and zones quickly without leaving your current page! Most relevant results will be displayed instantly with their detailed tooltips to keep the Magelo database always close to you.
- Choose one of your characters in the Web Bar to activate the contextualization. You will then view tooltips personalized such as Item dual tooltips to compare your currently equipped items with an item you can use in the same slot.
- Use shortcuts to access also Magelo main features such as your Characters management space.
- Customize the look of the Web Bar by selecting a banner and a color theme.
Not only is it really useful on Magelo, the Web Bar can become an amazing tool in your own world too! Bundled with the Magelo Tooltips, you can add it easily on your site or blog and let your visitors enjoy the best of Magelo. Non intrusive and customizable you can just make it yours and boost your site!
The Web Bar is just in its beginning stages and we will make it much more powerful in the future. If you need some guidelines to use it or add it in your own site, don’t hesitate to visit the new Web Tools section.

Yeah, obviously, as you probably know by now Magelo sync is NOT working. Read news, got all excited, posted to my guild it was working finally! Then I logged into a new patch today and discovered, it's not working cause of course the EQ .exe was patched and hence sync no work. Can you please fix this one quickly? We been waiting forever. I know can manually update level and crap on site now at least but without sync up the database doesn't have the new HoT items to add manually so we're stuck again.
Please try to fix this one fast. I know it's not your fault it's SOE's and frankly I don't know how you put up with all the crap they do in the first place. I can imagine just trying to keep a site up-to-date to work with anything SOE does must be an infuriating pain in the butt.
Thanks for trying to have sync ready today though! lol
