From what I can see in game on my Live server (EMarr), the "an unknown tongue" has been removed from my list of skills. Also, with the use of the "An Ancient Text" book you get from right clicking the equippable "An Ancient Text" range item, you learn the Skill "Error: String not found. (7658)" (Presumably Alaran, when VoA goes live?) to a skill of 5.
