I ran Sync today after a while of not using it (I usually make changes as I go, but need Sync to get back onto rankings periodically), and it has created a new character entry for my rogue Fidden under the number 1065831 instead of updating the current profile of number 1860. It also has me down as unguilded, which was shown correctly prior to the sync.

Any thoughts please on how to rectify this please?

This is in fact a strange issue. We will look into it today and keep you posted.

Any luck on this please? I've been manually updating my original profile as items change, but it still shows the other one as sync'ed

Can I ask if there has been any progress on this please? It is still showing the account as not being synched and when I try again it just creates another profile...

Sorry Twiggetts for this late reply.

Could you please try again to sync your character and keep the duplicate profile in your account? We need to see it to better understand what is going one. Please let us know when it's done.

I also noticed you currently has a registered account, so when you sync your character only the identity and the guild status is updated. This is normal that you need to manually enter your gear and other information to complete your character profile.

So as soon as we fix your issue with the duplicate profile, I recommend you to take our trial offer that let you sync your character fully for 10 days, and try out all the other premium features. After 10 days, you will be able to keep your character up to date automatically (getting premium) or manually (for free).

But first, let's try to understand this issue with your profile. So let me know as soon as you sync it again. Thank you.

loulina, I've just re-run the sync as you suggested and it now appears to have worked! Not sure if you changed anything at all, but it certainly wasn't doing that before.

I'm glad to see it is working, and I hope you got your bug squished, if not from evidence from me!

This is magic I don't know why it wasn't working before and now it's ok... but I am glad you could sync your character. Let us know if it's happens again!
