I have to ask as this has been annoying me for some time.
Why on earth does the Magelo updater insist on placing an icon on my desktop , and another folder in my start menu every time i restart it.
I cant find an options to make it not do that , and i already have the magelo update icon where i want it in the start menu.
deleting the unused stuff on every use of the updater isnt quite what i want in using this.

This is an anoying feature of Java Web Start in Java 5, I don't know if it changed with Java 6. A workaround is to copy the icons/menus elsewhere, open the Java Web Start console and ask to remove the desktop icons, and then place the saved icons.menus wherever you want.
