As pointed below, the earlier release has issue with Java 5, this is now fixed so you don't have to upgrade yet to Java 6.

Yes, you can upgrade to java6 if you wants to. It's not mandatory but it works nonetheless

Hi jelan - I have just recently bought your product and I am currently having problems with the update. I have manually used your product in years pass but never the upgrade. I am disappointed that I can not get this to work. I am giving the information that comes up when I try to use the update

Well mckin, it looks like you figured out how to make Magelo Update works What did you do in the end ?

Thanks Jelan for looking out for me, I never expected a personal response and I am quite impressed !!!
I am not exactly sure other than my virus scanner has a built in pop up blocker and I shut that down. I had planned on writing to let you know but wanted to make sure it worked a couple of times. I havent had a chance to play with it but from what I have done so far I very impressed with your product and V E R Y Happy. I still have not had a chance to make sure but I am hoping to check out again tonight.
I will post again to let you know for sure.
