For reaching its 8th anniversary, that is. Even though the game has changed a lot since its original release, the game is still around the block. In the gaming industry at large, that is quite an achievement.
With the celebration of this anniversary, SOE also patched the game. As such, Magelo Update is out of working order as well, until the development team has had a chance to verify and rectify the changes in this latest EverQuest patch.
Such a patch usually takes a few hours up to a few days to sort out, so apologies for the downtime of the Update program in the mean time.
