Here I am.
It does locate the character's zone info.
Target - Unavailable

Zoning doesn't allow the synch to work, nor does restarting magelo sync.
  • upon startup, it does mention "you don't have any game running right now"
However when I do select Everquest - it finds the game is running.

I am having the same issue but I will take it one step further, I have 4 characters:

Agnarr server - Borune - I cannot get Magelo to see him. It DOES see the zone as Kaladim I get the message Wenc gets.

HOWEVER if I log onto Merrit Magelo sees him and syncs no trouble.

Now I just tried Jennivere. It sees her in Greater Faydark but again - same message.

Last character is Balben. It sees him and I can sync him fine.

Win7 laptop. I uninstalled and reinstalled Magelo Sync. I have the latest 32-bit Java and 64-bit Java.(I have always used both Java versions on this laptop so don't tell me it's that please.)

Sync shows used game slots 2/3 so that's not it either.

since the tech support from staff is Absolute Trash Dumpster Fire Garbage I will assist you.

After much trial and error, do this to fix your sync issues - Put something into your bank with magelo sync open.

Now if they could fix the bug that causes this it might be worth the subscription I paid....

Putting anything into the bank did not work for me.

I am having same problems and am a premium member of Sync. I tried the bank trick and no luck, I reinstalled both 32 and 64 bit versions of the latest Java, reinstalled magelo and tried running as an admin. When I click on the launch game - Everquest it does nothing. When I run Magelo after already having EQ running it fails.

Any suggestions?

I mean, as of right now the new patch is preventing any sync until it's updated.

The bank trick is literally the only thing thats worked for me, and apparently it only works for premium users.

I wish I had more answers for you internet friend

Wait until magelo sync is patched and try again perhaps.

Yep, tried to download Magelo last night and its not working.

says something about eq has been patched and magelo will to be updated soon.
anyone seen an eta?

What acknowledgement do you need? EverQuest was patched.

Oh, just a simple acknowledgement from the Devs of Magelo that they know that EQ was patched and they're working on a fix.

Seriously? That's a given. They patch EQ, Magelo is offline for a week give or take.
