Magelo sync is seeing what zone my toon is in and what it's target is, but is not displaying the actual Sync button. This is a recurring issue. In addition, it WILL give the sync button to a toon on another EQ account. I tried with just one account logged in, and that did not fix the issue for this main account.

And now it worked. I have no idea why it works sometimes, and not others. Can close this out, I guess.

Me neither Joke aside, I have added some extra log so next time it happens, the log should tell us more about the issue.
