I am surprised this is still a topic after 25 years and literally hundreds of thousands of users who used Magelo Sync without any issue. I am guessing this is coming up now because of the recent addition of the anti cheat detection logic which will look after anything that modify the game to grant the player unfair advantages.
Magelo Sync does not alter / impact the game at all and does not provide any kind of information that could be deemed unfair / cheating. From a technical standpoint, it does not do anything more than what an antivirus / malware detector would do and should not trigger at all the anti cheat engine.
