EverQuest was patched on 15 Sept, 2009 and we will need some time before Magelo Sync can be patched. We will update this thread once its updated.

Edit (15 Sep 09): Magelo Sync has been patched, and we've made a couple of changes that will allow your profile to cope with the gender and name changes with Potion of Amnesia and Potion of Disgenderment.
Update (28 Sept 09): An EQ hotfix patch was released last Friday and we will patch Magelo Sync for it within this week.
New Update (28 Sept 09): Magelo Sync has been patched!
