Imagine my surprise when I tried to sync my accounts and it wouldn't work. Then I went out to the website and went to my account only to find my premium membership had expired. Somehow in the change my renewal got dropped and I had to sign up at the new rate - I almost didn't. I've been a supporter for several years now and although I like the change, I feel it was implemented poorly. The one thing that would have made it better - and this has been said many times - is communication (or lack thereof). Please strive to keep in touch with your user base frequently, even if its to say "nothing new going on".

One more thing - if you have a "contact us" page, I could not find it either during the billing renewal fiasco evening or tonight. Please add one (if not already there) or something. And make it easy to find.

having not played for a week ive found that my profiles have stopped working and when i went to accounts/charictors i found my profile has changed from level 72 back to level 70 even though i updated it just before eq halloween patch why have i lost 2 levels and why does the updater sit there flashing at me when checking for updated version and then when i deleted the program and reinstaled it it worked but eq has been patched so it wont work anyway

i dont want to moan but this is the second time my profile appears to have been rolled back or messed up or watever.

Jelan, could you please check the status of my account. i believe i've run into the same situation as Aelfin. im pretty sure i should still have some time left from when the site when down. And i would like to check out the changes before i pay again.

Not too particularly interested in paying for services for "other game channels" either since i play EQ and only EQ, that's what i bought when i signed up for magelo premium, so i guess i won't be renewing my premium membership either.

however i do like the new look, although the key and flags thing is a ton messier than the old layout, everything else looks good you did a great job, just can't justify paying so other people can have 3 game channels when i only use one.

Like others here, I find a 100% price increase unacceptable. I am not renewing (for now) because the justification for the value of the increase is tracking chracters in games I do not play. All I use Magelo for is to allow guild leadership to track my toons and to locate missing spells in my set for Everquest. Never will play those other games.

At the price point Magelo is reaching for, the Sony service come into play, and it will never go down for weeks and months after an expansion.

Got back from hollidays to check out new stuff and found mine had expired too, but can not see any details of my subscription on accounts page to work out when it should have expired.

I also think it would have been nice to have held out on price increase respecting people who were prior subscribers through the updates when everyone got in.

Gona be a tuff call to renew compared with EQ players, especially since it looks like some people now will not be renewing means leaderboards will not be as accurate compared with EQplayers. I still like Magelo better but not sure if I like it to pay twice as much as EQplayers for leaderboards, or do manual updates when I can link my EQplayers page instead.

But on EQPlayers you pay for each EverQuest account, whereas on Magelo you pay for three EverQuest accounts initially and then once for every five additional ones (although this is a feature not yet available that will be coming soon).

so since magelo hasnt worked for almost a month now really can we all get a $2 refund check in the mail ....if its not usuable why are we paying for it this month /boggle

1) It has been down for just 2 weeks
2) It has only been partially down, only the Update Program was down (something that is also indicated and disclaimed in the Terms of Use that you agreed to when you signed up for Premium).
